KROQ 1984
Hello Everyone, I haven't posted any tapes in a while so I dug this out of the box. All it says on the label is KROQ 1984. It's music from the era, commercials and assorted KROQ DJs. Enjoy!

I'm guessing this is from June 8, 9 or 10 of 1984, since it's a weekend and the Nadia Comaneci movie commercial says it airs that Monday (June 11).

Another awesome and unedited aircheck from The Garage! Sam Freeze was a really great jock. He did well, working his way up from KROQ intern. In the 90’s, he was heard on the air in Las Vegas.

I don't know were Sam is today. After Vegas, he returned to L.A. to do radio sales in Santa Monica and more recently, he was managing a local punk band called El Centro.
