KROQ 02/01/1981 The Young Marquis & Stanley and the Rodney Bingenheimer Shows
I found a 2fer for you all, a double cassette set (one C90 & one C60) dated February 1, 1981. The majority of the first cassette is the Young Marquis and Stanley show before Rodney starts his show. The second cassette continues with Rodney Bingenheimer. Once again, I am disappointed to hear Rodney announce his special guests were the Adolescents and I didn't get them. If I could go back in time I would do this all differently, like record this digitally and store it on a giant hard drive, oh yeh, that didn't exist. Oh well, I'm glad I'm able to share this ultra cool stuff with all of you almost 30 years later. So I say thanks again to Rodney Bingenheimer for turning us on to music we would have not gotten to hear if it wasn't for his show. Thanks Man, You're BOSS!

Holy crap...thanks so much for making this stuff available. I played this stuff at work all day and everyone dug it bigtime. I'd never heard the actual shows like this before but remember reading about them way back in the early 80's in flipside, Skateboarder and slash when I was a teenager...... thank you, thank you. I must say, this 45 yr old man is enjoying these as much as my 16 yr old self ever couid had.
Wow, thanks for posting all of these oldschol KROQ ROTR shows! I've only had one that I made back in 81 and although it's a great show I've been really needing more. So thank you!!
